Application process
Before you can request a physical card, you need to complete the configuration process.
- In the left-hand menu, go to ‘Physical’ under Cards.
- Click the ‘Config’ button to set up the phone number for postage notifications and configure any additional notifications for creating physical cards.
There are two ways of requesting a physical card - directly from the ‘Physical’ tab or by creating a virtual card and enabling it on the physical card section.
Request a physical card
- In the left-hand side menu, head to ‘Physical’ under Cards.
- Click on ‘Create Card’ in the top right corner.
(Note: Creating a physical card will automatically create a virtual card to match it.) - Choose from Debit or Prepaid.
Prepaid cards will be loaded with a predefined amount. This amount will be blocked from the source account.
You will require a limit to link debit cards to the source account. The amount will be blocked from the account at the time of purchase. - Customise details of your physical card.

Whether or not you want a recurring top-up, documentation or enable it for POS - Share the card through email with the employee by inputting their email address and creating the card.
The employee will receive an email inviting them to complete the KYC and Verification process.
- Once the biometric identification is processed, the request will be sent for approval.
- Once approved, they will receive the following email:
- The card will now be available under the ‘Shared with you’ - ‘Physical’ section and the linked Virtual card will be displayed under ‘Shared with you’ - ‘Virtual’.
- The card PIN and transactions will be visible on the platform. Transactions coming from the physical cards will display a physical card logo.
- Online purchase details will be accessible through the linked virtual card.
- The physical card will need to be activated using the activation code received by post alongside the physical card.
- Once activated, the user can switch between different virtual cards that are linked to the physical card.
Note: You can only link pre-existing virtual cards to the physical card once your physical card has been activated.

Creating a physical card from a virtual card
- In the left-hand menu, head to ‘Virtual’ under Cards.
- Click on ‘Create Card’ in the top right corner.
- Choose from Debit or Prepaid.
- Customise details of your card.

- Share the card through email with the employee by inputting their email address and creating the card.
- The card will be created and you will need to click on ‘Activate for Plastic’ at the top right. You can always deactivate it or disable it.
- An employee will now receive an email notifying them that a physical card has been shared with them.
